Joseph Warmann - CEO
Joseph Warmann is a founding member of Human Potentials Unlimited, Inc.
As CEO, he serves as leader on the Executive Leadership Council. He is
a member of the Aggregation Strike and FACCT Strike teams. Joseph is a
partner in a business finance consulting firm specializing in helping
small to medium size firms with loans, accounts receivable,
revolving lines of credit, equipment leases, and cash flow products.
Joseph’s background includes working in electronic
distribution
for the fashion retail industry, sales and business development in the
business travel industry, and as an entrepreneur in the corporate
events and relocation industry taking his first business from $0 to $6m
in annual sales in 5 years.
Joseph graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Technology Management (Business Management & Engineering) from
London’s South Bank University.
Tom H. Schnack, CPA
Tom Schnack is a founding member of Human Potentials Unlimited,
Inc. He provides support on financial issues and is a member
of
the acquisition team and the executive leadership council. Tom
is
also a partner with Seim, Johnson, Sestak & Quist, LLP, a
regional
CPA firm. He joined Seim, Johnson in 1981, became a partner
in
January 1992 and was elected managing partner in 2005. Tom's
background includes work with various types of clients including health
care, non-profit, retail, manufacturing, real estate development,
construction, governmental agencies, and benefit plans. Tom
publishes articles and gives presentations on a wide range of topics
including third-party reimbursement, revenue optimization, government
reform, fraud and abuse and other topics.
Tom graduated with honors from Midland Lutheran College in
1981. He became a certified pubic accountant in 1982. He is a
member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as
well as many state societies and other professional organizations.
Michael Stay
Michael is a founding member of Human Potentials Unlimited,
Inc.
He is a member of the Acquisition Team and the Marketing Optimization
Team, and provides support to Legal and Resourcing efforts.
Michael is also President and CEO of Core Impact, Inc. a business
consulting firm established in 1995 and headquartered in Northern
Virginia. This firm provides strategists in market
pre-eminence
for business optimization, procuring government funds, public/private
ventures, conflict resolution, and marketplace/community
transformation. The clients of Core Impact represent a wide
diversity of industries, organizational structures and size.
Michael has more than 30 years experience in government procurement,
leadership, strategic planning, public affairs, negotiations, conflict
resolution, marketing, contract management, site and infrastructure
development, program/project management, environmental and safety
compliance, business optimization, organizational troubleshooting, and
business coaching. Michael has extensive program/project management
experience throughout the U.S. and Canada with projects ranging in
value from $1M to $5B. He is a recognized expert in managing
privatization projects that transfer ownership of government assets to
the private sector, and in managing complex programs that involve
public-private partnerships, multiple regulatory agencies and diverse
stakeholders.
He was formerly the North American Director of Project Management for
Chevron Corporation. While with Chevron, where he served for
19
years, Michael held a variety of positions including Engineering
Manager, Capital Hill Technical Lobbyist, Manager of
Environmental/Safety/Health, Public Affairs – Corporate
Spokesperson and Director of Privatization. Mr. Stay has
worked
with several government departments and agencies including the Dept. of
Energy, Dept. of Defense (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines), HHS,
CDC, GSA, GAO, and numerous Congressional members, staff and
committees.
Michael has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from
Colorado State University, is certified in Conflict
Resolution/Mediation/Arbitration, and is a Certified Project Management
Professional.
Boyce Berkel, MD, PhD
Boyce N. Berkel is a founding member of Human Potentials Unlimited,
Inc. He is an active member of the Acquisition Team, the FACCT Team,
and the Executive Leadership Council. As a world traveler, having
visited over 81 countries, Boyce has observed first hand that at worst,
life does not work for most people, and at best, the rest do not live
anywhere near their true human potential. He is currently in
the
process of writing a book – “Making Life
Work.”
Author, lecturer, publisher and clinical researcher, Boyce is currently
developing an alternative treatment protocol for neuropathic pain. In
1997, he developed a topical analgesic called PainBreak® that
is
currently being used successfully worldwide to manage neuropathic pain,
and in 2004 he was invited to sit on the alternative medicine advisory
panel of the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association.
Boyce was accepted to Medical School after only 2 years of college, and
graduated from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1973. He earned a PhD in Nutrition in
1981. Trained as a surgeon at the University of Texas Medical Branch in
Galveston Texas, Boyce practiced Emergency Medicine for 22 years and
retired from the ER in 1996. Understanding the Mind, Body, Spirit
connection, Boyce has written several books on managing neuropathic
pain. A firm believer in the concept of “A Sound Mind in a
Sound
Body,” Boyce is also a founding member of Health and
Longevity
Unlimited, Inc. He is also actively working on developing the Human
Potentials University.
Peter Ireland
Peter is a member of HPU's Acquisitions Team and oversees its online
activities. He is a successful entrepreneur and has held executive
positions with a number of corporations, both private and
publicly-held. In 1988 Peter became a partner in Ashton Montana
&
Company a management consultancy providing financial and marketing
services to high technology companies. Afterwards, Peter served for
over three years as CEO of Leisuretech Corp., a publicly-traded
company. He spent another four years managing CalWest an innovative
venture fund geared towards start-up companies. During the late 1990s
he was involved with a number of Seattle-based online companies,
including CBeX which was the premiere mergers & acquisitions
site
in its time. Peter has over 12 years of experience in building and
running online businesses.
Peter holds a degree in business administration from Canada's Simon
Fraser University. He is also a licensed business broker in WA State.
Claudia Candea
A member of HPU's Aggregation Strike and Marketing Optimization Teams,
Claudia is a dynamic international business coach and trainer, helping
entrepreneurs not only start their business but make it a successful
journey.
Her passion for helping organizations and executives obtain great
results started with a management promotion while still a student which
helped her learn the principles of leadership and team building in a
fast paced environment. In only one year, her team of 16 employees had
an all around success record in sales and customer satisfaction which
resulted in Claudia taking over the company's Team Building and
Training position.
Claudia's background includes positions with major airlines and tour
operators. She is a business owner offering coaching/training
services to business owners and executives from various industries.
Claudia graduated from the Canadian Aviation Institute with a diploma
in Airline Management and Operations. She also holds a certificate from
the Coaches Training Institute.
Gordon Bizar
Gordon Bizar is the architect
behind the industry
aggregation
business model. In addition to inventing the model, he has for the past
40 years been one of America's foremost leveraged buy-out
experts.
During this period he has used his innovative LBO techniques to acquire
dozens of small and mid-sized companies in both the manufacturing and
financial services industries. This knowledge was eventually
productized into the Bizar
Financing Course which has over 300,000 graduates.
Gordon currently runs National Diversified Funding Corporation, a Los
Angeles-based private equity investment company, and oversees the
Global Aggregation Corporation.
Gordon has made 120 appearances on radio and television as a business
finance expert, including The Today Show and other nationally
syndicated radio and television news and talk shows. In
addition,
he has served as an adviser to NASA on technology transfer issues and
spearheaded the California Task Force on Taxation and Regulation of
Small Business during the Brown administration.
Gordon holds a degree in economics and finance from Boston University. Gordon's
